Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
1. What the service does
MyGBPro helps businesses manage how they appear in local search. The service can read and update your Google Business Profile, create and check listings on other directories, draft posts and review replies, and report on where your business ranks.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a contract.
- You must have the right to manage the business listings you connect. Do not connect a business you are not authorised to act for.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Permission to act on your behalf
When you connect Google, you authorise us to access and update that profile on your behalf using the permissions you granted. This includes our team doing work for you as part of your plan — building listings, correcting details, publishing posts and replying to reviews.
Every change we make is recorded against the name of the person who made it and can be reversed. You can withdraw this permission at any time by disconnecting Google, and we will stop.
4. What we do not promise
We cannot promise a specific ranking. Search results are decided by Google, not by us. Anyone guaranteeing you the top position is not being straight with you.
Any projected position, traffic figure or improvement shown in the app is an estimate based on averages, clearly labelled as such. It shows what the work is typically worth — not a guaranteed outcome for your business.
We also cannot control whether a third-party directory accepts a listing, or how long it takes. Where a submission is rejected, we will try again at no extra cost.
5. Payment
- Subscriptions are billed in advance each month unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. If we change them, we will tell you before your next renewal.
- You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it or where we have specifically promised it.
- If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it is settled.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for a business you do not have permission to manage.
- Submit false or misleading business information, such as a fake address or a name padded with keywords.
- Ask us to obtain fake reviews, or to offer anything in exchange for a review. This breaks Google’s rules and can get a profile suspended.
- Interfere with the service, or try to access other customers’ data.
- Resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, or that puts another customer’s listing at risk.
7. Your content
Your business information stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to run the service — for example, to publish a post you approved, or to submit your details to a directory you asked for. We do not claim ownership of it.
8. Third-party services
The service works with Google and other directories, each with their own terms. We are not responsible for their decisions, outages or policy changes. If a platform changes how it works, we will adapt the service as best we can.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or remove features over time.
10. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may end it with reasonable notice, or immediately if these terms are broken. When an account closes we stop accessing your Google data and delete stored tokens, as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or lost business. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
